Adi Da Samraj
Image-Art
For about 15 years the book, “The World As Light: An introduction to the Art of Adi Da Samraj”, by Mei Ling Israel, has sat on the arm of my couch. Almost every day for years I would open it, read it, and most importantly I would sit and just BE with his Images. I would not say anything. I just sat and participated with the image art.
It impacted me in ways I cannot fully articulate. Feelings penetrated deep into my heart space. It had real depth and was tangibly heart-felt.
Over the last year, I have extended my reading of Ad Da’s books, including his art books: The Spectra Suites, Orpheus and Eurydice, Orpheus and Linead, and I have begun reading Transcendental Realism.
I often visit www.daplastique.com as it displays Exhibitions of Adi Da’s image-art, and I really enjoy viewing these on my big computer screen.

Recently I have been grateful and blessed to visit homes of Adi Da’s Melbourne devotees where his image-art is on display. I stood and sat for long periods as the image-art unfolded. As my consciousness shifted the depth revealed itself. I sense there is more to be revealed.
His image-art expanded my connection to Adi Da, and now that connection includes his written and spoken word via books and videos.
My goal is to visit an Exhibition of Adi Da’s image-art. I am hoping one turns up in an Art Gallery in Australia. I have set my intention and attention on it.
Adi Da Samraj passed out of his body in late 2008.
The image-art along with his written word keeps me connected.
Blessings
H!
